Kids can make a difference and be empowered to help in shifting people on our planet to be stewards who give back instead of consumers and 'takers.' Each day we have choices. As we move from being unconscious in our choices, to aware of how our behaviors affect the Earth, we shift--our family shifts, schools, communities. One simple action can make a positive difference.
How you can help each day.
-Eat only sustainable fish and no predator fish like tuna and swordfish
-Pick up trash at rivers, bays, lakes, and oceans
-Reuse items
-Recycle paper, cardboard, aluminum, metal, plastic and glass
-Use a re-usable water bottle
-Say NO! to plastic
-Volunteer for a conservation group
-Get outside and enjoy nature daily
-Turn off unnecessary lights
-Recycle used engine oil
-Combine trips, use less fuel
-Use environmentally safe cleaning and gardening products.
-Properly dispose of fishing lines, nets, any plastic or other litter near the ocean.
